Ryan Gosling seen onstage with Black Lips at ACL 2012

The news from Austin City Limits just gets better and better! After all the great fan pics and tweets we now know that Ryan and Rooney were seen on stage with the Black Lips! It seems that Terrence Malick's untitled film puts Ryan in the role of cameraman as he was seen 'filming'

"Austin City Limits always packs a few surprises, but I don’t think anyone was expecting this: A guitar-slinging Rooney Mara joined the Black Lips onstage and rocked alongside them for one song while Ryan Gosling watched from stage left. Oh, and reclusive director Terrence Malick was on hand filming the whole thing."

Ryan at the ACL Music Festival in Austin

Twitter was exploding today with sightings of Ryan at the ACL Music Festival in Austin, Texas. He was with Terrence Malick, Rooney Mara, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Florence Welch. Tonight Tegan & Sara, Florence + The Machine and The Black Keys are performing.

**UPDATE** We can see the crew in the new pic, so it's a confirmation they are indeed filming there :)

We don't know if the cast is just having fun or working. From the description on imdb, we know that the untitled Terrence Malick movie is "set against the music scene in Austin, Texas" and we can see Ryan holding a camera in some of the pics from the fans below:

It's finally here! The new Gangster Squad trailer. The movie will be released in the US on January 11, 2013.

After pulling the initial trailer from theaters back in July (due to a violent gun scene that was a little too reminiscent of the tragic Colorado theater shooting), Warner Bros has finally unveiled a brand spanking new preview for their LA Noir, crime thriller "Gangster Squad." Take a look!

The fact-based, 1949-set feature, which is directed by Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland), sees Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling as two hard-nosed detectives who are assigned to create a covert police squad. Their main task is to save Los Angeles from a power-hungry East Coast mobster named Mickey Cohen, played by Oscar-winner Sean Penn. Emma Stone co-stars as a femme fatale stuck in a romantic subplot with Gosling's character, while Michael Pena, Anthony Mackie, and Robert Patrick are members of the elite cop unit.

A new study claims that Ryan Gosling has some famous relatives ... Justin Bieber, Avril Lavine and Celine Deon are all claimed to be distant cousins of Ryan

"Genealogists at Ancestry.com say they've discovered teen idol Justin Bieber is a distant cousin of movie star Ryan Gosling and singer Avril Lavigne. Their family link dates back to some of Quebec's earliest settlers 400 years ago, the Utah-based company said today. As if Bieber didn't have enough superstar genes, Ancestry.com also said he's a distant relative of singer Celine Dion."

Ryan Gosling voted as more influential than President Obama

Well according to a new poll by AskMen.com anyway. The Top 49 Most Influential Men was determined by more than half a million votes worldwide.

AskMen.com released its 2012 list Wednesday, having asked readers to decide "which male figures have made the biggest impact and, ultimately, shaped what it means to be a man of influence in 2012."

Ryan Gosling was voted near the top of the list coming in at No. 10. Ryan beats President Barack Obama who was voted No. 11 on the list of Most Influential Men. But he was beaten out by the No. 1 most influential man of the year, (fictional) James Bond.
