Ryan Gosling has a big heart
We knew that already but it's always nice to see people talking about it.
From The Insider:
Just when you thought Ryan Gosling's insides couldn't get any more beautiful than his outsides, this photo of the actor at a charity event for the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin emerges.
Gosling, who is shooting Terrence Malick's new movie in the area, stopped by the Spooky Skedaddle 5K with his director and co-stars: Michael Fassbender and Rooney Mara.
"Ryan was extremely kind, allowing lots of photo ops with fans and when the director told him, 'Enough,' he said, 'No, one more,' and pulled a small deaf child out of the line for a picture," Anne Adams, the executive director of the Texas School for the Deaf, told E! News. When you think it's impossible to love him more...
Thumbs up, Ryan.
Thank to @Calihi27 for the tip.

Ryan Gosling no longer attached to Logan's Run
Sad news for those of you hoping to see Ryan in a futuristic all-in-one jumpsuit ... Ryan is no longer attached to the re-make of Logan's Run. The movie was to be another collaboration between Ryan and Nicholas Winding Refn who directed him in Drive.
We know that Ryan was initially signed on the play the lead so we had already started to imagine him in a futuristic all-in-one jumpsuit (not that we have an insider knowledge on the actual costumes)!!
Seriously it's not known why Ryan is no longer attached but we're guessing it is probably not the costumes.
We can still look forward to the next Ryan Gosling and Nicholas Winding Refn collaboration in Only God Forgives which opens in 2013.

Ryan Gosling staring into your eyes is amazing
That's what Elle Fanning said:
We can imagine, Elle :)Elle Fanning says it was “just amazing” when Ryan Gosling stared into her eyes and said hello.
The 14-year-old actress met the Hollywood hunk at an awards party and was thrilled when he stopped to talk to her. Ryan’s smouldering good looks have women the world over swooning and he had the same effect on Elle.
“I met him at the Governor’s Ball and he just, like, stares into your eyes, and he’s, like, ‘Hi, it’s so nice to meet you.’ And it’s just amazing,” she gushed to British newspaper The Times.

After positive reviews and generating awards buzz at the Toronto Film Festival commentaters expected an awards season release sometime in the fall..
"The Toronto Film Festival is widely considered to be the place where a majority of the buzz for so-called “awards films” begins, and this year one of the biggest surprises was Derek Cianfrance’s (Blue Valentine) crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines. The pic stars Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper and centers on the intense feud between a professional motorcycle rider turned bank robber (Gosling) and a rookie police officer (Cooper). The film premiered to an enthusiastically positive response at TIFF, with heavy praise given to the film’s scope and impact; our own Matt Goldberg called it an “epic family saga” in his positive review."Great news! ... or maybe not such great news as we first thought?

"Normally there’s nothing scarier than a Hollywood actor who, not happy with just commanding the silver screen, decides to move into the world of pop music. ... For today’s countdown to Halloween we give you an actor who totally got things right. Ryan Gosling is one of the cofounders of Dead Man’s Bones, whose eopnymous debut disc is creepy and scary for all the right reasons."

Cute fan encounter "Order the Hummus Masabacha with pita on the side"

Would you recognize Ryan if he was sitting next to you at a Hummus Restaurant?

Would you recognize Ryan if he was sitting next to you at a Hummus Restaurant?
"I was enjoying the quiet, sunny day by myself in the East Village of New York, looking for a late lunch post-yoga… I came past a nice, average looking Hummus restaurant.Click on the link to read the lady's whole story but for the record Ryan recommended the Hummus Masabacha with pita on the side!
I smiled & politely asked the only people (two guys) still dining out front if the food was any good. The guy in the cap & sunnies said “it’s the best”, so I sat down on the table next to him (the only other table there)… and then the same guy proactively proceeded to advise me on the best dishes to try, from his experience. Nice guy.
As he was sitting next to me, talking & pointing at my menu it slowly but surely dawned on me that this was RYAN GOSLING advising me on my lunch order.
For Real. OMGosling.
The ‘dawning’ happened in slow motion as he spoke to me… In a way that, at this point, made it impossible for me to reach for my camera. I was too far in as a ‘normal’ behaving person to turn all psycho-crazy-screaming-fan on him now."
