NEW pics of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes in New York City

 Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes dressed in layers for a walk in NYC this afternoon. The couple spent the weekend in the Big Apple, taking walks in Manhattan and enjoying the end of the Thanksgiving break. Work brought them together romantically on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines during the Summer of 2011, and they'll be side by side in the run up to the picture's release next year. Ryan and Eva got things started on the red carpet back in September, when they premiered The Place Beyond the Pines at the Toronto International Film Festival. Ryan's got more movies to promote before theirs, though. His Gangster Squad hits theaters in January. This month has also been a big one for Ryan and Eva — Ryan turned 32 just a few weeks ago.

Ryan Gosling in New York

There have been lots of twitter sightings of Ryan Gosling in New York. Tonight it seems that Ryan and his date took in a show on Broadway.

Ryan was seen today at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Broadway.  From the picture it looks as if Ryan is holding the door of the car ... ever the gentleman!!

The show Glengarry Glen Ross is showing at the theatre - hope they enjoyed the show!

Casting news for "How to Catch a Monster"

Moviehole has just posted exclusive casting news for "How to Catch a Monster".  Ben Mendelsohn will be joining the cast! Ben will be joining Christina Hendricks in "Monster". 

The film is Ryan's directorial debut and is said to be a dark fairytale.  As Moviehole reports the film "tells of a mother (Hendricks) and her two sons, one of whom discovers a secret underwater town. With mother in tow, young Bones enters the dark, macabre place he’s stumbled upon." 

Moviehole notes that there is "No word on Mendelsohn’s – who gives a stellar turn in Andrew Dominik’s “Killing Me Softly” – character, but as he usually does, he’s sure to knock it out of the park."

Ben and Ryan have worked together before in “The Place Beyond the Pines”.  They must have enjoyed the experience!

Ryan Gosling in NEW "Only God Forgives" poster

We can't exactly say "looking good, Ryan" this time because he clearly had a rough time in this new poster for "Only God Forgives".

Things weren’t looking pretty for Ryan Gosling in our initial batch of behind-the-scenes stills for Only God Forgives, but now it’s only gotten worse for our star. In his re-team with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn, below one can see a new look at a battered Gosling, with seemingly only one eye intact. The image below, sent in by a reader, is presumably out of the American Film Market.

We also recently got word that the film is set to be finished by December for a 2013 release, but a concrete date still has yet to be confirmed for the Bangkok-set thriller also starring Kristen Scott Thomas.

We have been posting candid fan pics from the set of Terrence Malick's latest and untitled film starring Ryan Gosling.  The movie has an amazing cast including Michael Fassbender.  We previously posted the picture below along with many others.

Ryan Gosling is in Mexico

According to Formal Prision, Ryan, Rooney Mara and Michael Fassbender arrived in Progreso, Yucatán today to shoot The Untitled Terrence Malick Project.

***UPDATE*** Diario de Yucatán says the crew will shoot in some Yucatán cities until Thursday (15).
